Shampoo Selection

When selecting a shampoo it is good to know some important details.

Dog shampoo is formulated for the neutral pH of a dog's skin and coat.  People shampoo is slightly more acidic and should only be used on people hair.  Dish soap is for dishes.  Dish soap is too harsh for a dog's skin and coat.  Just think about how irritating the stuff is to your hands.

Dogs are stoic creatures that rarely complain.  Shampooing your dog with a soap and detergent free shampoo then following up with a conditioner will make your dog happy.
